Ted Baker London | The Kiss Of Ted

I received this beautiful Ted Baker set for Christmas.
I'm a huge Ted Baker fan, especially a fan of their beautiful make-up bags, shoppers and IPad cases with the big beautiful bows. And of course their skin care products are a right winner for me.
Admittedly I have never owned a piece of their clothing and equally never tried any of their beauty products out. Mainly because I didn't realised they did any until Christmas came along and the majority of their gift sets were beauty related. I know a lot of people would be quite optimistic about using beauty products from a brand that doesn't specialise in creating beauty products but I feel that Ted Baker are a huge company and put a lot of time into their products and I've always found that the quality of their stuff is top of the range. So, I feel that Ted Baker wouldn't invest or put their name on a product that they thought wasn't up to a high standard or something they didn't believe in.

I remember when I stumbled across their Christmas collection in Boots and was absolutely amazed.
Beautiful packaging, stunning colour shades within the whole of their beauty products. Extremely sophisticated look throughout their collection which to be honest, is what I fell in love with. So, I did treat myself to a couple of things along with receiving a couple of gems as presents.

I've never been so attracted to anything beauty related more than I have with this gorgeous lip set.
The elegance of the women behind the frame is breathtaking. The fact it looks like a book is very cleaver, the beautiful rose gold within the whole set is beautiful, especially if you're a bit of a rose gold fan like myself. The vintage feel that it has with the old school building print inside incorporating a modern style to it with its use of pastel colours throughout is lovely.
The visuals of the products all round, for me, is just fantastic and a very unique product. Certainly something I haven't seen or owned myself.
Set includes: Lip crayon, Lipstick, Lip Liner, Mirror & Lip Balm
The Lipstick and Lip Liner shade are very similar to each other, the Lipstick is a slightly darker red than the Lip liner (not a huge difference, just slightly) As a two they can be perfectly paired together and create a gorgeous red lip. They create a beautiful shade of red which is very elegant, graceful and of course, pretty.
You don't have to use them together, I find that even lip liners are really nice to use from time to time on their own by simply lining your lips and filling it all in with the same product.
Both products are super easy to apply and you can feel the moisture it puts into your lips from the minute it is applied. For me they weren't drying at all, and i'm someone who would noticed if they were straight away as I do myself get very dry lips
The Lip Crayon is probably my favourite piece of them all. A dark plum colour which is a perfect colour for autumn/winter. Colours like this sometimes scare me, as I've said in previous posts, I fear that I will look like a 5 year old who has rummaged throughout her mothers makeup and created a clown like mess. However, with this crayon, it has a quality in which you can build it up if you want to, yes, its dark and something you can't exactly dull down, but you can get away with applying a thinner layer and by using your finger (or brush) to rub it into your lips to create a slightly less dramatic vibe.
And of course you can go all out and just apply it how you would normally to really appreciate that bold plum colour. I guess it all depends on how brave you are and what sort of mood you're in.
Again, the Lip crayon is very easy to apply and very moisturising just like the lipstick and lipliner.
I've found that I get the same results throughout the lip products when it comes to application, moisture and staying power which is always a massive bonus when those 3 qualities are ticked of the list.
Lip Balm, again, I can't fault it. moisturising, smells to me like coconut which feels really refreshing and light. It also comes in a cute little tin with the building print on the lid.
Quite a small tin but its the perfect size for you to chuck into your handbag and use when you're on the go.
Mirror is also a perfect size to be kept in your make-up bag or even in a handbag, again with the beautiful print of the women who's on the cover of the outer packaging of the entire set.
As a whole this product is absolutely wonderful. I couldn't be happier with the quality as I had a lot of high hopes on this set. Purely because of how much the elegance of the packaging caught my eye.
Another wonderful creation from Ted Baker and I will very much look forward to seeing what else they plan to come up with on the beauty front.

I do believe this product is now discontinued as it was released for Christmas however I would definitely keep my eye out for any more new and up coming products like this and they're well worth the money.
Absolutely beautiful to look at and a complete dream to work with.

Were any of you lucky enough to get your hands on this or anything else from the collection?
If so what did you think?
I'd love to hear your opinions so please leave a comment below.
