January 27th 2014 - Accepted at Hogwarts.

My best friend and I were lucky enough to go to the Harry Potter studio tour in Watford.
The whole experience was absolutely incredible.
The attention to detail in everything from newspaper posters and paintings. The props such as the Deathly Hallows. Costumes of our favourite characters, good and bad. Along with figures of the animals that roam around. Houses, cottages and the rooms that are within them like bedrooms, kitchens and living rooms. Their way of transport including the Knight bus, the Weasels car and the famous Nimbus 2000 which is wanted by many in the wizarding world. Full views of class rooms, with the thousands of potion bottles and spell books. Dormitories, full of beds and the students belongings, Common rooms with sofas and fire places. And of course not forgetting the main attraction on the tour, the huge building of Hogwarts. Which by the way felt absolutely incredible to stand in front of and imagine how it would be to attend as a student and learn magic. So much more detail went in to create these films and bring JK Rowling's books to life.
The amount of artistic work that went into these 8 films that are undoubtedly loved my millions, worldwide was completely mind blowing. Sadly so much of this detail goes unnoticed but, after re watching the entire franchise after the tour you pick up and notice so much more than you thought you would and I found myself appreciating it even more, for me it felt much more magical than i already found it.
Safe to say I really didn't want to leave and could have quite easily lived there. Drinking as much butter beer as humanly possible...(it was delicious)

I'd recommend this tour to everyone. It truly was magical.

    1. It really was so mind-blowing and just incredible. The castle was sooooo beautiful! Really overwhelming standing in front of it and actually being there when i've almost grown up loving the films and watching them constantly!
I'd love to go back there again though and really look at things cause i found myself taking pictures of literally everything and and was more focused on that then i was anything else :') So amazing. xo
